The Crossover Alliance Anthology
Written by David N. Alderman
It was barely two years ago that a little online community called The Crossover Alliance (www.thecrossoveralliance.com) was born. When I had to make a decision on carting my genre-bending series, Black Earth, as either mainstream or Christian, I had to decide if I wanted to get lost in the massive collection of science fiction and fantasy titles on the market or carve out a niche for my unique fiction. After a conversation with a good friend of mine, I came to realize that it was time to separate myself from the crowd and set my sites on those who were specifically searching for science fiction, fantasy and horror with Christian themes and real-world content.
And so, a new genre was born - edgy Christian speculative fiction.
Upon the birth of this new genre, I started to gather other authors together who wrote or read in the same type of vein. The Crossover Alliance was originally started as an online social community to pull together fans and contributors of this genre, and was later converted to a static website and an attached forum which stands today.
Now we're releasing our very first anthology, a collection of nine short stories by seven prolific authors. The anthology covers three main genres: science fiction, fantasy, and horror, each with their own Christian themes and each with their own dose of real-world content.
The Anthology is available in paperback and digital editions. You can find links to everywhere the Anthology is available through the official web page - http://www.thecrossoveralliance.com/#!anthology/c22ov.
