Christian Geek Central is excited to continue our long-standing annual tradition (our 13th year!) of raising funds for children in urgent need, continuing that long tradition with our sixth annual "Game Save" event! This year we are raising funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which not only provides life-saving care free of charge but also shares its cutting edge research with hospitals around the world, helping to drastically improve childhood cancer survival rates! 

Our team goal is to raise $1,000 for St. Jude's by the end of Sunday, November 30th. Below, as team members join, you will find a link to each team member's fundraising page where you can donate toward their efforts and raise our combined team total at the same time! (Fundraising stats on this page are updated each weekday, so please check back to see the effects of your donation represented here.) Final Crisis Sucked

If this series is any indication of what more "crisis" crossovers would be like, I'm glad we're calling this the "final" one. After a confusing 7 issue arc, I sat down and read all 7 comics back to back to see if the story made any more sense. Not really. This is possibly the most self-indulgent comic book story I have ever read. Morrison juggles a ton of characters that are either obscure (even to a real DC fanatic like me!) or brand new without any explanation or reminder of who they are and where they came from. The only way to make sense of this series would be to get a list of every DC comic book Grant Morrison has ever read and study them so that we can know what he obviously thinks we should know about all these Z-list characters.
