    Thanks for your honesty in this episode. I certainly identify with the struggle you're feeling. I have a mentally-demanding day job as a software developer and it can be really hard to find the energy to work on my writing when I have the time. Like you, I had to really push myself through my last youTube video, but glad I did.

    Matt, check out the Deep Space Nine novel Rising Son for Kai Opuka's return through the wormhole. I don't remember the exact circumstances, but she comes back with Jake who has spent a year in the Gamma Quadrant trying to find a way to re-connect with his father.
