Live Stream Update

Image
Thank you to those who came by for the stream yesterday, whether you typed in the chat or just lurked in safety. ;-) I worked some more glitches and kinks out after the recent stream (which still went better than last time I thought!). Did some stream testing throughout today and tried some new tricks. As it stand right now, it looks like I'll be able to have pretty good fidelity video of the game footage as well as MUCH improved (and reliably functioning) picture-in-picture video quality. As well as voice audio that is almost PERFECTLY synched with the PiP video AND game footage! WOW! NEVER thought I'd figure out how to do that with the limitations in what I have available to me. But multiple prolonged tests today indicate that it will all work out! I almost felt like posting a sample so those of you who came to the stream can see the dramatic improvement! I'm even MORE excited now for the big event in October and I hope you are too! (Don't forget to click on &q

Jason Brannon opens The Tears of Nero with explosive intrigue and action. The reader, like the protagonists, is thrown right into the conflict without reason or explanation. This is a gutsy move on Brannon's part. On the one hand, it grabs the reader's attention. On the other hand, though, it results in very little upfront characterization. Indeed, the opening chapters of the novel are propelled forward by plot and not by the characters. But something interesting happens as the five strangers traverse the dangers and traps of the island... a
